For more than a decade, I’ve used imagery and typography to relay my client’s intentions. They know their intent, can describe it in random adjectives, colors, or scribbles on a napkin, but need to communicate that visually, in a clear and compelling way. I help distill their ideas into a language of imagery. Sometimes this involves something as simple as a color to create a mood or as complex as a custom illustration. This skill requires empathy and the ability to set aside ego in order to design within a client’s personality and voice, while maintaining functionality, clarity, and creativity.
My clients have ranged from seminal recording artists to ergonomic toothbrush companies, and I have moved fluidly from one to another, telling all of their stories.
